7 Places to Shop for New Collections in Adaptive Clothing
When I look inside my closet, I feel like I’ve got to be prepared to have a fresh, cool collection of adaptive clothing for whenever I am lucky to get selected for a Casting Call or even when I am going on my next Winter Ski Trip or simply a warm Caribbean Getaway.
If you are reading this and you don’t have any friends that wear adaptive clothing in your Contact List on your phone, then maybe you should consider adding inclusive friends to your contact list and go shopping with them. You may discover that some adaptive fashions may be simply so easy and convenient for you to use as well. Don’t worry, we won’t tell.
I’ve found that some of the places where I like to shop for trendy adaptive clothing options are all worth it to get a variety but here are just a few that made my list of seven.
1. Tommy Hilfiger Adaptive at
I always love the stylish colors in the Tommy Hilfiger Adaptive collection. I shop on Holidays to get promotional discounts.Â
2. I also shop the Adaptive Clothing & Accessories atÂ
www.jcpenney.com  I like shopping here because I always get a good deal.Â

3. Sensory-Friendly & Adaptive Clothing atÂ
I found that I really liked the fact that Kohl’s features an Adaptive Clothing Guide on their website organized into several categories. It allows me not only to shop for myself but to keep my differently-abled friends in mind to buy them a gift for special occasions like Birthdays. Anyway, the Guide features categories like Easy Dressing (which literally means easy to use).Â
There is also a category for Closures (for example, magnetic or Hook & Loop closures). Another category, I like is the Sensory-Friendly category (clothing is carefully selected for those of us with sensory issues) Also the Abdominal Access Category is great for some of my friends (features an opening in the abdominal region for some friends I have with medical issues in their abdominal region. Finally, I like the Seated comfort category as well (it features adjustable waistlines or pockets and even higher backs for our overall comfort.Â

4. For shoes, whether I  am looking for sneakers for my workout or dress shoes to go out, I love the Zappos Adaptives shoe collection on www.zappos.com
Zappos is also great for Adaptive clothing as well. I like their smart-looking blouses with hook and loop closures. Â
5. For my friends with kids, I like Target Kids Adaptives collection with lots of choices on www.target.com
6. I also like shopping on Amazon like so many of us. Amazon features Adaptive Clothing on their website at www.amazon.com and the clothing looks and feels comfy.Â
7.  Finally, JanSport has a cool Adaptive Collection featuring adaptive bags and backpacks that I thought is great whether you are in a wheelchair, using a walker, or just love to use bags designed to be easily accessible.  Visit www.Jansport.com and check it out for yourselves.Â
