How I Do Fall Styles Like Victoria’s Secret is My Medal of Honor
Like many of you, I live an active lifestyle juggling various responsibilities from meal prep to planned and unexpected meetings to sports activities with the kids and more. I realize that I need to have the right mindset to accomplish all the things I have to get done or sometimes things would be a hot mess. So  I need to manifest positive things like creativity, originality, and adaptability in my fashion and style and envision what I want to achieve. This is applicable whether I am looking to achieve a look or anything else.
I have a natural instinct for style. When I care to wear something more than my comfy pair of sweats to run errands, my natural sense of style comes alive.Â
When it comes to dressing with style, many people seek help from Professional Stylists. We have even seen celebrities turning to seek the help of Stylists too.
I Â like a variety of inclusive, adaptive brands but really love to wear Victoria’s Secret like it’s a Medal of Honor. I will even work it into the topic of conversation at the Thanksgiving table at my get-togethers. I like to be my own Stylist and am proud to talk about it among other topics. Â Who doesn’t want to talk about the VS and Pink Adaptive Collection?

When we think of people with inclusive and adaptive apparel challenges or individuals with disabilities having to dress themselves to be able to go to their daily scheduled activities or regular routines to work or school or events like Thanksgiving, they may feel even more overwhelmed than celebrities who have to rely on professional Stylists.Â

For me, Â I like to tell a story with my style when I dress. I Â think we all should have a story to tell. For example, the style I bring with my clothes tells the story that I don’t let inhibitions hold me back. Â It tells a powerful story about my strength, independence, and freedom to make choices as a woman, especially if I encounter any roadblocks and obstacles. I like to choose bold, strong colors like red and orange in the Fall when I wear my sweaters, pants, skirts, or black jeans for the Fall Season with my Black leather boots or any other color boots that make me feel empowered. By the time the Christmas and Holiday Season comes around, I’ll pull out my red, or shimmery gold and silver platinum sweaters and a variety of my festive or vintage-style boots, cowgirl style or otherwise styled. Â Â Â Â Â Â
Of course, I am always wearing a nice and comfy intimate piece under my clothing like an adaptive style bra complemented by an adaptive style panty from the VS and Pink Adaptive Collection. And although no one needs to know what I am wearing underneath my Seasonal Festive outfits, I find I am proud and willing and ready to make it a topic of conversation anywhere and everywhere from the Thanksgiving Table to even the steps of  Capitol Hill whenever there is an opportunity to advocate for Inclusivity especially for Differently-abled individuals and the Disability Rights for people with disabilities.Â

No one wants to discuss political issues at the Thanksgiving Table. However, I find that there is no need to say too much at the Thanksgiving table to any difficult family or friends that you would prefer not to interact with too closely perhaps because they make you feel a bit awkward or uncomfortable sitting alongside you with their gaslighting style critical remarks about you and your life as if your life is the only topic of conversation they can talk about. Well, just be grateful if they do not view you like the Black sheep of the family. That’s why it’s important to let your Thanksgiving outfit do all the talking even when they talk about you.Â
If you follow my Stylist tips, you can go with a modest, sexy ,or fabulous outfit with the nuances and ingredients of your own individualized style to tell everyone about your success. It can even tell them if your success matches the story you are telling them about you by your own dress and style. Â Own who you were born to be and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
If you are a Caregiver who is assisting a differently-abled individual with their dress and style, then help them to personalize their style with things like shirts that reflect their favorite activities, or favorite baseball or football team or sport,Â

When everyone sits around the Thanksgiving Table, ultimately we expect that everyone will put any differences aside and know that the most important thing is to give thanks for things like our family, Â the dinner and meal and so much more.

We all care how we look among family and friends. When I find myself sitting among family and friends who appear to inspect me from head to toe in a critical manner, I ignore them and attempt to put it back on them asking them about their sweater or scarf and if it has any special meaning for them. I will even begin to ask them when was the last time they did a makeover?
If I could be completely frank with them. Â I would tell them that I think it would be better for them to concern themselves with anyone at the Thanksgiving table who has their hands and eyes on their cell phones. Someone has to say something about it. Someone has to remind everyone of the serious need for a Digital Detox when it comes to the Thanksgiving table or Festive Get-Togethers for the Holidays. I think this is necessary when it looks like everything else like selfies and social media is coinciding or superseding the Thanksgiving dinner.Â
Back to my fashion and style. Regardless of what anyone else thinks about my fashion and style, the moment I step out of the shower, I like to think of my body as a canvas that I can adorn with all different kinds of stylish fabrics and fashion from Victoria’s Secret to Macy’s and more. Of course, I can wear my favorite Victoria’s Secret bra and panty set to the Thanksgiving table and no one would know what intimate brand I am wearing underneath my Fall sweater and pants or skirt. It doesn’t matter how revealing or sexy it may be as long as it’s all under my Thanksgiving attire.
Best of all. I like to dig deep into my soul to pull out positive affirmations and apply this even to my dress and style. This helps me explore my sense of fashion and style at a deeper level. It means a lot to me. It gives me a greater sense of self-empowerment when I can successfully style myself as if I were a Master level Stylist who ranks at the level of a Gold Medal.Â
There will always be people who don’t share a positive vision packed with positive affirmations like mine. They see things otherwise and they are free to their opinions. However, I must admit, sometimes for the Miss Goody Two Shoes who sits at the Thanksgiving table passing questionable or critical remarks, I like to share stories like the time I attended a Halloween party with a group of my inclusive friends and we dared each other to dress in Halloween Costumes that would be nothing like who we really are. Â

in everyday life. So we dressed in some of those fierce, fabulous lingerie outfits that beautiful models show off as they strutted down Victoria’s Secret Runways. Â I loved to see one or two jaws drop as I know that this is something that any Miss Goody Two Shoes sitting at my Thanksgiving Table would never do just for the fun of it when people like this who are in no official capacity to critique others continue to chatter even behind our backs.Â
Well, I have discovered that if all else fails at the Thanksgiving table with non-controversial, conversational topics then simply talk about giving gifts and the Gift-Giving Season. I often come full circle and make my way back to talking about giving gifts from Victoria’s Secret – Â VS and Pink Adaptive Collection and other popular Adaptive Apparel brands.

As you can see, there are so many more ways to be creative with giving gifts that will leave no doubt that it’s the thought that truly counts.
Become a “Gifting-Genius” Detective. Figure out how best to personalize the gift. Â Be on the lookout so you know what your loved ones really love to get. Â
For example, is he or she a Sports fanatic? Is he a die-hard fan loyal to only one team or does he love other teams? Â Is she a Ride or Die Swiftie or are there other musical artists she loves? Â
Once I have done my Gifting Homework, Â I like to select various items, for example featuring the favorite things of my loved one like Sports logos, Music Artists, or other logos or graphic art designs featuring a fitness activity or hobby. You can also personalize a gift of fashion a tad more by including a monogram patch from a local craft store with your friend or family member’s initials. Simply let them know that you’ll be happy to have their initials stitched on the item if they like the gift and decide to keep it instead of returning it.Â
