How I Make New Year’s Resolution Fashion Statements in Headbands

I think the New Year is the perfect time to make New Year’s Resolution Fashion Statements. Listen, if you haven’t donated some of your old outfits yet perhaps it’s time to say—out with the old and in with the new in the New Year. Consider adding something new but different to your New Year attire like a headband that says everything you want to tell the world about yourself.

Historically headbands have been associated with dignity and status.  If you like inclusive, adaptive fashion then don’t overlook putting a headband on your head or forehead to make your outfits pop. Currently, for the colder Winter months, cherry red colors and burgundy-red wine colors and hues are trending, and velvety materials are all trending right now. You’ll find you can mix and match with the outfits you already like and discover how chic and stylish you’ll look whether you are wearing jeans with a shirt or sweater or even a more dressy outfit.  It doesn’t matter if you like fabulous styles or simple styles, the right headband sends the message that you know who you are and you know how to glow up and take your fashion to the next level. For Die-hard Headband lovers, it can be argued that perhaps headbands should be designed with the standard of beauty that a High School or College ring or even Wedding bands are designed.

Get ready to manifest all that dignity and status that exists inside of you. It’s a powerful statement to make in the New Year with your family and friends and everyone or anywhere you go.

Whether you look to channel the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton’s style when it comes to wearing headbands or whether you look to follow famous actresses like JLo accessorizing her “Jenny from the Block” style headbands or  Lupita Nyong’o style in her sparkling Oscar- Winning diamond headband, I find it’s always best to wear a headband that allows you to experience self-expression as you express yourself in the world. Headbands are great for any and every event or activity whether you are heading to the gym to exercise, going outdoors for a jog or even attending a meeting, a party, or an Awards Event. You may even want to consider wearing a headband on your next date or date night just to mix things up.

When you are not wearing a headband for a Bootcamp-style workout and instead you are ready to send the message that you are all about style all dressed in black standing alongside your partner at a Black tie Event then don’t overlook a black headband. You’ll discover it makes a classic professional look whether you are attending a business event or events a little more formal than your business attire.

Don’t second guess what you like when it comes to your inclusive, adaptive fashion statements. Even if the piece of fashion you like is not what you think is part of an adaptive fashion brand, it’s always possible to mix and match almost any fashionable piece with your adaptive apparel.

Be bold with your fashion statements. If you are in the mood to say you feel like anything goes, then check out this Soho Style, Women’s Anything Goes versatile Wire Wrap Headband available on sohostyle.com in colors like leopard print and black. This SohoStyle brand is described on  LinkedIn as offering fashion such as “hair extensions and hair jewelry that enhance beauty and style through innovation and positive change.” This polished headband is also available in other stores like Macy’s on sale. I especially like to check out the sales after the Holidays at the mall for items like headbands or anything else that’s a deal.

I never hesitate to make my headband my own style or to use it in ways that are best for me. I like to wear headbands that are not only stylish but those that serve the purpose of accentuating adaptive apparel in fashionable ways not only for the event or activity I am attending but even far beyond. For example, I like the fact that I can utilize my headbands for other functional or medical reasons as well. Case in point, although headbands do not cure headaches whenever I am experiencing a headache, I like to put eucalyptus oil to calm stress-related headaches or I may also use chamomile oil known for its anti-inflammatory properties. Whether you are a typical person or represent people living with Disabilities or other inclusive communities, this can be helpful for anyone who likes the health benefits of oils like these.

Quality is also very important to me so  I like to look for headbands made of quality fabric and fine linen. It’s also good for the planet if you look for headbands made in earth-friendly, eco-friendly, sustainable style materials.

Quality and style, what more can one ask for in the New Year when it comes to your New Year’s Resolution Fashion Statements. Even if you think headbands are not your thing, then dare to wear something different and just try on a headband with one of your outfits, you might be surprised by the results.
