We all love to be stylish when we step out for the day or night. Some of us express our personal style in the latest pair of shoes or clothing we wear to go to work, school, sports, or special events while some of the rest of us express our unique style using the coolest kind of crutches walking down a Catwalk or Runway with our own special spice like if we were a Spice Girl.

Many Barbie fans who enjoyed all the style that Barbie and her friends showcased in the 2023 Movie “Barbie” which mesmerized so many of us with adventure, comedy, and fantasy might also find ourselves enjoying the Spice Girls movie dating back to 1997 which brought all the style of the Spice Girls and captured us with its ability to bring not only music but comedy and more. Whether it’s Barbie and her friends or the Spice Girls bringing style to the stage, they all seem to bring something special for the whole family.

What’s noteworthy is the style that comes to life on the screen or in real life when we see our favorite icons and channel what we love about their style into our own personal lives.

It’s no surprise that some of you may even be among the fans of this popular British Girl group known as the Spice Girls and are likely familiar with how stylish they look especially when they are performing for their fans on stage. They always bring a slice of that special spice that draws fans to the arena and makes them feel alive with music that pumps everyone around them with positive energy. Imagine bringing that special spice and style no matter where you walk.

Well, it’s public knowledge that one of the Spice Girls, Victoria Beckham has been recently seen in Paris bringing her style to life despite having suffered a foot fracture injury. She is showing the world that she is fully capable of walking and appearing on the catwalk with black crutches as if she didn’t even have an injury.

According to public reports, she has even been seen around Paris wearing off-black slacks and a black leather jacket along with black crutches. By all accounts, she is showing off her current mobility status with style.

It is not uncommon that some of us along with some of our friends and family have been born with permanent birth defects and disabilities like spinal cord defects or other spinal cord injuries and neurological conditions that require the use of crutches.

We all know someone who lives with permanent disabilities and medical conditions or others who may have suffered temporary injuries originating from a sports injury, work-out injury, or perhaps some other kind of accident that requires the use of crutches.

No matter how crutches become part of our lives, let’s all keep our heads up and walk with our crutches with style. Let’s be bold. Let’s show off our own personality and style and walk proudly.

One day I came to the conclusion,  that whoever said crutches are not cool, doesn’t know anything about how to walk in crutches with style nor do they know how to make a statement in crutches and say “I am Fashion” like some of the biggest campaigns by Runway of Dreams that we have already seen.

It should never matter whether you are using crutches because of a permanent birth defect or sports injury plus it should never stop you from being as stylish as you want to be. Having a positive attitude with whatever your situation is in life can only boost your self-confidence and even make this process part of your self-care.

So why not wear the coolest crutches with the kind of pride and style that says–

” I am a winner”, and sometimes consider inviting some of your allies to join you on your walk.
