7 Benefits Sleeping like a Star Adds to my Life
I love it whenever I get a chance to sleep longer on Holidays, snow days or on other days off but I know I need good sleep all year round so it can be another factor in my healthy lifestyle that will help me to not only look better but feel like I’ve got that   “It”-factor that successful Stars seem to have. I imagine myself sleeping like a Star who truly cares about living a healthy lifestyle.Â
So I take my sleep seriously but things don’t always go as planned when it comes to my sleep. I would say I am a work in progress.
I am prepared to put on the most comfortable pair of PJs or lingerie from just about any store that sells comfy lingerie just to get a good night’s sleep.Â

A little self-disclosure- I’d say I have no problem with sleeping barely nude in the fetal position under my blanket if it would help me sleep better but thank goodness I can always shop at lingerie stores like Victoria’s Secret to find something comfortable to sleep in. Â Because I am no different from anyone else who likes to get a good night’s sleep and be able to truly feel the benefits in my daily life.
What? Are you shocked or a little bit surprised that people like me living with disabilities who should be respectfully referred to as differently-abled can look good or even be viewed as sexy in luxury lingerie Ads? Thank goodness for Runway of Dreams and Victoria’s Secret.
 For me, I usually put on the latest adaptive fashion, sensory-friendly, soft, sleepwear, and lingerie that’s on the market, especially from the latest lingerie line from the collaboration between Victoria’s Secret and Runway of Dreams because when I feel truly comfortable I sleep better.Â

So, I definitely have to check a few boxes off my Sleep Checklist just to be able to prepare to get good sleep.Â
As I have said, I am prepared to try anything and go the extra mile for good, quality sleep. If I need to place cool, cucumbers over my eyes for the benefit of both beauty and sleep as I need in my case for better sleep then I am prepared to do that too.
Well, I think I have put in the work on the road to better sleep.  I did my homework on some of the benefits of good sleep to explore if  I noticed any benefits at all in my own life. Seven benefits I discovered that better sleep can bring to my life are as follows:
1. Improved Focus
2. Heart Disease Prevention
3. Diabetes Prevention
4. Â Boosting My Immune
    System
5. Reducing Inflammation in my body
6. Improved Energy
7. Beauty Sleep
Here is what I noticed in my life. I definitely began to notice that I do focus better when I feel less tired. I think this will certainly help me to do better at any opportunities that come my way for auditions and influencer opportunities. Plus I have found that better focus leads to moments of inspiration and improved motivation at least for me so it’s a win-win for me. Â
However, I am a work in progress, and getting one or two nights of good sleep is not going to cut it, I know I need better sleep in my life all the time.
Bottom line, I Â will keep working at achieving my best lifestyle changes to live life like a Self-Care Star to ultimately achieve not only better sleep but my best life.Â
