I may not be the 2024 Bachelorette, Jenn Tran but she inspires me to be my best self just like the inspiration she brings to many others nationwide and globally.

Whether I am poolside or standing by the side of the bar at a friend’s wedding she inspires me not to hide from who I was born to be and to live my best life.

Whether you are a Bachelorette fan or not, anyone would be remiss not to notice that our new 2024 Bachelorette is the first Asian-American Bachelorette of Vietnamese culture.

As seen in her recent Good Morning America Interview with Emmy Award Winning Anchor and GMA contributor, Lara Spencer,  Jenn reveals how important and grateful she is to be the first Asian-American Bachelorette when she shared that growing up she never really saw a lot of Asians in the media. She is a woman who appears not to be afraid to share her vulnerability when it comes to her journey to find love with the viewers who watch her.

She has also been interviewed on Nightline by Asian-American TV Journalist and Emmy Award-winning anchor Juju Chang  where Jenn again shares her emotional vulnerability. She even talks about the difficult topic of Imposter Syndrome when the question is posed to her. She shares how growing up she would try to hide the Vietnamese side of herself to fit in but now she can embrace her culture and embrace who she is.

This is so inspirational to me. Plus it’s so inspirational to other people too. At some point, so many of us have experienced feeling like we are not enough. We know what it’s like to feel like we don’t fit in. We may even have felt safer to hide who we are or who we are truly born to be.  It reminds us that we can all embrace who we were born to be.  We can all shine a light on supporting inclusivity and diversity.

I am sure many of us agree that the first Asian-American Bachelorette is a trailblazing positive step for inclusivity and diversity for many of us whether you are typical, neurodiverse, differently-able, LGBTQ, or represent any other group that has felt excluded in life.

Some of you may remember Jenn Tran as one of the contestants who competed for the love of Joey Graziadel on our TV screens back in Season 28 of The Bachelor.

For those of you who need a little reminder, let’s look at how she showed us her strength and vulnerability to put so much on the line for love.

As shared on Bachelor Nation, if you take a moment to click the link below, you will see the video captures Jenn’s amazing vulnerability and openness to share how she felt about the man of her dreams in front of all her fans and viewers who were watching.

Fast forward to the new 2024 Bachelorette Season where it’s a mystery who will be the love of her life.  This is a good reminder to us that we don’t have to have all the answers when it comes to love or living our best life.

I love that it looks as if Jenn is living her best life and enjoying the journey. She appears to be trusting the process and having fun doing it. Plus she is now in a much more powerful position where she gets to choose the love of her life compared to when she was one of many contestants on the Bachelor competing for the love of one man.

I am no Bachelorette but I like to channel the positive qualities we see in someone like Jenn Tran. Qualities like inclusiveness, empowerment, self-love, and pride in ourselves and our culture no matter who we are or whether we are a celebrity or an average person.

I like to channel this sense of empowerment in my life.

Personally, the process involves giving myself more options, choices, and alternatives.

When it comes to living my best life or finding my “Person”, I believe I have more power when I have more options. After all, our 2024 Bachelorette has a long list of contestants to choose from to find her “Person”.

For instance, many of us would agree that we experience a sense of satisfaction and empowerment when we have more opportunities to succeed at anything in life.

It would be no surprise that many Bachelorette viewers would probably want to live her lifestyle.  However, the majority of us would not appreciate haters or frenemies saying that we are not enough or even accusing us of trying to “Keep up with the Joneses”. But let’s be honest so many of us do our best to keep up with the lifestyles of successful people who look like they are living their best lives.

Whether it’s attending the best schools and colleges, driving the best cars, or buying the best homes, we all want the best for our lives.

Even when it comes to finding “our person” – our partner, husband, or wife to share our life, share our home with us, we all want to find the best of everyone and everything.

So, I am definitely inspired by positive celebs who represent inclusivity and diversity who appear to be living their best life.

You will almost always find me doing my best to channel the positive aspects of their lives into my lifestyle yet at the same time I keep my own sense of individuality and identity. I feel like as long as I keep my own individual identity then I don’t see that as “Keeping up with the Joneses”

We can all take a moment to look at our lives, stay in our lane, and start doing what it takes to live our best lives.

Most of us would agree that fitness and wellness are important for us.

That’s why I decided to take steps to live my best life and follow the positive, inclusive tips of the Lookability Club Lifestyle. I admit I like to channel a variety of dynamic successful celebs to help me do that. All I am doing is following some of the best healthy activities of my favorite celebs. When I think of living a Lookability Club lifestyle, it’s about invidualizing your overall health and wellness like fitness, nutrition, self-care, sleep hygiene and much more to what’s best for you. It’s about keeping everything in your lifestyle inclusive and diverse as well.

I like to say it’s all about Inclusivity and Diversity.

Here are some other celebs that I find inspiring who are great examples of inclusivity and diversity. However,  please know that the list can go on and on because we have so many trailblazing celebs who fit the profile for inclusivity and diversity and obviously, there are a lot more celebs who are excellent examples of inclusivity and diversity.

Keep reading to find out which celebs are on my list so far.

I will say the Celebs who stand out to me are the ones who are healthy and fit and show grit and perseverance. But we all have our favorite celebs who may fit this profile from our own perspective.

If you’re a little like me then you’ll probably pick a celeb who demonstrates the kind of determination and perseverance whose activities and lifestyle can help you live your best life too.

Three celebs come to mind for me. They are great examples of popular stars who support inclusivity. They have shown that they are supportive of their fans who are either differently-abled or fans who are members of the LGBTQ community.

One of the celebs I consider to be among our most popular typical allies is listed first. I have listed two other celebs on my list who are differently-abled. They have shown us how they created inclusive spaces in their own careers to be successful.

Look who made my list so far.

Taylor Swift

Swifties will not be surprised that she is the typical celeb on my list. We don’t think of Taylor Swift as differently-abled but she doesn’t have to be differently-abled to support all her different kinds of fans. We tend to forget that many of her fans are from the differently-abled population.

Who doesn’t like to hear the powerful poetic thoughts of Taylor Swift?

If you don’t feel the same, then there should be no surprise if anyone says you are not a Swiftie. Throughout the years she has expressed her support for her fans of the LGBTQ community and non-binary people.

Fans following Taylor’s career would know that she was featured as Time Magazine’s Person of the Year in December 2023.

I definitely like to follow her fitness routine.

In her Interview with Time Magazine when she discussed her training and Fitness routines for her tours. She talked about how she includes fitness activities like running the treadmill while singing her songs. She also shared that she does strength conditioning and weights in the gym.

So it should be no surprise that I like to channel this celeb’s healthy lifestyle and fitness activities and work them into my health and fitness routines yet do it in an individualized plan that works for me.

Next up, one Hollywood actor comes to mind. She is a wonderful example of a differently-abled Star. She symbolizes inclusivity and diversity in enormous ways. Almost all of us have heard of-

Marlee Matlin

Yes, Marlee Matlin, the first deaf actor to win an Oscar for Best Actress is a powerful advocate for inclusivity and diversity.

She demonstrates strength, inclusivity and diversity in so many of her projects. In addition to winning an Academy Award, she won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a great romantic throwback movie “Children of a Lesser God”. She has also appeared on TV Shows like Seinfeld and Law and Order Special Victims Unit.  In 2008 when she competed in Dancing With The Stars in the Celebrity Competition Series she showed us what she had on the dance floor.

She has also been known to let her fans know that a good night’s sleep is important for her.  It’s no surprise that I definitely do my best when it comes to getting sleep. I set goals to get a good night’s sleep no matter how hectic life gets.

Last but not least, my list includes-

Michael J. Fox

This five-time Emmy-Award winning Actor, four-time Golden Globe Award Actor has also won two Screen Actors Guild Awards, a Grammy Award, and more. Most of us know him best from the classic TV Show Sitcom  “Family Ties” on NBC where he played the role of Alex P. Keaton. We also know him from films like “Back To the Future”, “Teen Wolf” and more but one of his biggest roles that could well be described as his reality show is when he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease back in 1991 but this led to him becoming one of the biggest advocates to get everyone to play a role and work towards finding a cure for Parkinson’s Disease. This is a disease that impacts the nervous system. Some symptoms include tremors, rigid muscles, and difficulty making precise movements.

This hits home since Parkinson’s has also impacted one of my family members.

Regular Exercise is important to everyone whether you are typical or differently abled, it’s so energizing to see that the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research is doing a Virtual Exercise Summer Challenge to raise funding for Parkinson’s Research.

Any opportunity to raise money for a good cause while we do our exercise routines is a win-win.

Many other organizations ranging from Breast Cancer Research to neurological and developmental conditions like Autism offer fundraising opportunities where we can engage in fitness and raise funding for research. It makes me imagine how taking care of ourselves through our own fitness can benefit many others.

Michael J. Fox definitely inspires me to do more running. If I can’t handle too much running then I simply do walking or any other fitness routine that’s best for me.

If I had to describe my Lookability Club lifestyle, here is what it would be in a nutshell. I follow the best healthy lifestyles of celebs that represent inclusivity and diversity. Then I channel their energy and individualize it into my fitness workouts, nutrition, sleep hygiene, finances, and more.

Let’s hear it for inclusivity and diversity.
