Why I do My Beauty Routine like Jessica Alba

I like doing cool, healthy beauty routines like some of our famous celebs. I also like switching things up to make it inclusive. For example, I will try doing a different celeb’s beauty routine every other month or so.  This month I am channeling Jessica Alba. Here’s why.

Whenever I consider inclusivity, I keep my heritage and everyone’s heritage in mind. Jessica Alba comes from a Mexican-American Heritage so when she sits at the table we can expect that she brings this rich, colorful heritage.

Earlier this year she was seen looking fabulous walking the Red Carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverly Hills, California. When she gets social with fans, it’s like she teases us on social media with posts that seem to say – I am a woman who knows the power of my clean, beautiful looks. After all, she is like a Poster Child and Model for the clean-conscious movement with her Honest Beauty Lifestyle brand. 

She knows how to show her beauty and style. 

We saw her posting herself at the after-party wearing an edgy black Zuhair Murad dress. It looked like a fancy all-black dress with shoulder straps. It had a black lace and sheer, silhouette design. She even styled a velvet bodice that complemented her sheer, floral skirt for this perfectly fitting after-party outfit.

Before the after-party she was seen wearing a crystal mesh-styled Tamara Ralph Sequin gown with off-the-shoulder sleeves at the Oscars.

Enough said about her dazzling beauty and style with what she wears. I like that her beauty goes beyond a dress and beyond skin deep with her clean Honest products that now use sustainable packaging that’s good for our planet.

 

 I like to channel her energy and positivity when I do my beauty routine or self-care.

 

 

It should not be a surprise that Jessica Alba, co-founder of the company, Honest truly believes in the clean, quality products that comprise her lifestyle brand. I will focus mainly on Beauty products from her Honest Brand that I have included in my beauty routine. 

She has been known to use Honest Prime & Perfect Mask so I put on the mask and checked it off my list. 

It worked out well for me because I loved the results.

I listed some of the other products from her brand that she has been known to use below: 

Honest Magic Beauty Balm, Honest Calm & Porefect Serum, Honest Hydrogel Cream, Honest Deep Hydration Face Cream, Honest Calm & Heal Melting Balm, Honest Organic Beauty Facial Oil, Honest Honestly Bright Eyes Tinted Eye Cream and Honest CCC Clean Corrective with Vitamin C Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30, Honest Gloss-C Lip Gloss and Honest Elevation Hydration Mist. 

I also liked using very light and healthy make-up like the Honest Beauty Invisible Blurring Loose Powder and Honestly Healthy Lash Serum.

All these products worked well and again I loved the results. 

For skin cleansers in the evening, she has been known to use Honest Magic-Gel-To-Milk Makeup Melting Cleanser, Honest Calm On Foaming Cream Cleanser, and Honest Gentle Gel Cleanser when she doubles up or combines cleansers. 

When I tried this routine, it felt so good. It made my skin feel a gentle cleansing experience and I checked this off as a success. 

We all need to experience our own sense of beauty and style. We simply have to choose the products or dress and style that works best for us. It doesn’t matter whether you represent differently-abled people with disabilities or the LGBTQ community, we can all take something positive away from Jessica Alba’s beauty routine and style and make it our own inclusive style.
