How Yoga Fitness can help you achieve Financial Fitness

Today we are looking at how Yoga Fitness can help us find balance in our life since so many of us are jugging remote learning responsibilities and so much more with our kids due to Covid-19 school closures. Yoga is an ancient practice with origins in India.  It can be described as a physical, mental, and spiritual exercise we can do to help us find a balance between our body mind, and spirit. This balance has health benefits to our entire being and our body’s energy level and our over all lives. Many people  hope to develop this sense of balance through regular yoga sessions. And when it comes to yoga poses, we think the more unusual and different the better.

So we decided to approach our Brand Ambassador, JamesRoy who is a beginner when it comes to yoga. However,  he has had good teachers who have introduced him to the benefits of yoga in the past. We asked him if he would be willing to share with us what he has learned so far from his beginning yoga classes and let us know how it’s going.

He shared this photo with us below.

He told us that he has had to take charge of my own fitness routine with fitness centers and gyms closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic,  He apparently enjoys doing his own Stay-At-Home Yoga using his own style rather than talking shop. He says it’s going as slow as the whole social-distancing, social-isolation, and self-quarantine process is going for all of us before we can return completely to normal life as we knew it.

We asked him who does yoga better women or men?

He remarked, “Whoever said yoga was easy for anybody. Whether you are a woman or a man as long as you are dedicated and disciplined you’ll get better and better at it.”

He said he admits that he does have a ways to go with yoga to be at the level of Yoga-Pros but that it’s always best to take baby steps and start at your own level or at least at a level that feels safe and comfortable to you.

He shared how much he loves the overall health benefits of yoga and said It helps to relax my body and mind. I know that the benefits of yoga can help me manage my daily challenges with my special needs issues and it can help change my life for the better. I generally practice healthy breathing and take deep breaths during my poses. I make sure that I am  not only comfortable and relaxed but wearing comfortable clothes as well; I do about 15 minutes of yoga every day”

He added, .  If someone can’t afford Yoga classes, you can always find a yoga session that is a good match for you on YouTube.”

“Yoga can have positive benefits for your overall-well-being and self-esteem. Everyone should feel good about themselves by adding a little style to their outfits by mixing and matching colorful fitness tops and bottoms and outfits if you like but for right now he also likes neutral colors which he finds calming.”

Of course, we had to ask him a very private question that some may consider a forbidden question.

Have you ever tried Yoga Stretches in your Bathtub?

Here is what our Brand Ambassador revealed to us.

“Not yet.  I can’t say I have done yoga stretches in my bathtub. I think a warm bath is ideal but I rather remember all the hard-working Moms out there who deserve a warm relaxing Yoga bath more than me.  Whether these Moms are Stay-At-Home Moms or Essential Frontline Working Moms,  I think all Moms deserve a day off every month and not just on Mother’s Day. I mean a day we can call Mom’s Day every month where they can do something new and different to relieve stress like soaking in a bathtub and doing basic yoga stretches so that they can simply destress.”

Well, who can argue with that?

Last but not least he said, it’s always best to consult with your doctor to make sure the stretches you decide to do are safe for you to do especially if you have any underlying health concerns.  This would definitely be something new for Moms out there who have not tried doing yoga stretches in their bathtub yet to go ahead and do something new like Bathtub Yoga.

“The secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new.”  -Socrates

.

As far as dressing for yoga,  our Brand Ambassador and model, he also says its a good idea to  boost your  own sense of self-esteem so that you can truly feel good about yourself by adding a little style to your outfits by mixing and matching colorful fitness outfits if you like but for right now he also likes neutral colors which he finds calming.

There you have it, as they say from the mouths of babes. We found these  tips very useful. We would also like to add that  no matter what your fitness goals are with great suggestions like these all of us can even be more creative whether you are in your teens or whether you are a grown woman or man.

We think you’ve got the Look for Fitness!

It’s our Lookability Fashion & Money Saving Tips

Look in the Mirror & Admire Who You Are

1. Women you’ve got the look whether you are in your teens or your twenties, thirties, forties, fifties, or older. Boldly, wear a Yoga Sports Bra with comfortable sweats or leggings that feel snug yet a little loose and comfy as long as they fit you well. Look to see that it accentuates the slender sides of you. If you tend to be more curvy then be confident and beautiful no matter your size as long as the fitness outfits you select fits you well. Curvy is groovy so look in the mirror and admire the curvy sides of you. The most important thing is that you are maintaining your health no matter what’s happening in life around you.

 2. Men, especially if you are a family man, you are essential to your families and you rock just as much as all those amazing Moms. You help hold families together too. We suggest wearing similar form-fitting clothing like Bicycle shorts that help accentuate your strength. Look for fitness outfits that show your strong muscular build and continue to build and maintain your health. Other days you can simply wear loose-fitting sweats and change it up.
