How I Detox My Mind from Grim Outlooks of a Pandemic

Have you taken a moment to look around only to  realize the grim reality of how everything looks with deaths beginning to rise in the infancy of the pandemic and then realize that we have not even made it to the middle of this pandemic..

That said- it’s not hard to look  at the reality of  how many of us are experiencing heightened Anxiety because of the Coronavirus Pandemic also know as Covid-19.

Some of us may even be living  with other medical diagnoses and special needs that doctors may describe as us having  underlying conditions or other co-morbid conditions.

Well we asked our Lookability Team what we could all do to detox from the Anxiety and stress that so many of us are experiencing. We discovered that they all had so many great ideas of so many different things we can do from a private helicopter ride to fitness exercises to cooking and nature walks and more.

But we decided to share a simple anecdote from our Brand Ambassador,  JamesRoy. :.

“I  have had many days where I feel frustrated and anxious and have had my share of meltdowns due to other medical conditions that I simply have to learn to live with .  But honestly I have discovered that doing deep breathing techniques can be very helpful.

For example,  I will take 10 deep breaths nice and slow and imagine I am  releasing all my stress every time I exhale like if I am allowing  everything bad to leave my body so that I can begin to feel good again. I will do this everyday for as long as I need to..

Other days,I will go jogging in my neighborhood, take a relaxing nature walk or do speed walking other times.I think it’s a good idea to find an activity that you really love to do for yourself. This could be riding a bike, gardening, knitting or anything else like mowing the lawn to get your mind off what’s causing you to feel stressed and worried whether it’s the growing concerns we all have over the pandemic or anything else.”

It’s our Lookability Fashion & Money Saving Tips

1. Look for physical activities to do to help to release stressful thoughts and anxiety. Then wear a fashionable outfit that makes you feel good. Plus save money by re-using outfits that still fit you that you were keeping in the back of your closet but could wear now in a new way by adding a  social-distancing style scarf or mask that complements your outfit without having to go out to buy new outfits if you are struggling financially in the current economy due to the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

2. Be creative with the activities you choose to do in order to de-stress. The more creative you are with your fitness or relaxation outfits the more fun you will have in achieving a sense of calm.
