Why this Gripping Thrilling Psychological Thriller Keeps Me on the Edge of My Seat

How many of us would let a stranger let alone a bloody strange girl who is covered in blood into our home whether it’s Halloween or any other time during the year. While we may not have a problem with rescuing a stray dog or cat when it comes to a person covered in blood this can open up a whole can of worms or a pandora’s box if we look to rescue someone with blood all over them especially if we don’t really know if they approached our home truly as a victim or a villain.

Well, when I came across the book, The Intruder by Freida McFadden, I discovered it’s currently on the New York Times Best Seller List.    The plot reveals a woman named, Casey who is living all alone but it appears she is willing to do more than most of us would be comfortable doing when it comes to letting  a strange girl covered in blood into her cabin. While the rest of us may simply only be prepared to call the police or officials in our town to help the bloodied little girl, Casey invites her in and feeds her a nice meal and share cookies with her as described in one of the chapters called “Blood and Spaghetti”.

Not another word from me on this. Whether you decide to wear a soft snuggly robe, or your favorite comfy adaptive-style pajamas on and get ready to read this one.
