Thanksgiving is an exciting time of year. It’s a time when visiting family and friends can bring us joy and peace but sometimes even stress and anxiety with driving those long road trips and juggling too many things to do or dealing with difficult personalities that may even clash at the Thanksgiving table.

Here are a few tips when toasting at Thanksgiving.
– Be Positive
– Be Yourself
– Be Grateful
– Be polite & politically correct
– Be inclusive
– Be sure you wear comfortable shoes so you don’t look uncomfortable.

– Be kind even to the black sheep in your family or the elephant in the room.
– Be concise, short, and sweet with your toast.
Last but not least, when everyone is stuffed with turkey and ready to go home simply be safe.

Always check to see that everyone can drive home safely. If any of your family or friends drank too much while toasting then be sure that you take enough time to ensure you have a designated driver who is completely sober to drive your family and friends back home for Thanksgiving.
