Why Home Alone for the Holidays is Okay with us!

There is something nostalgic about watching movies like “Home Alone” during the holiday season. It doesn’t matter if you are alone for the Holidays or with that special person in your life, this is a movie that makes you laugh just as if it were your first time watching it.  

There are even nostalgic memories of how we remember watching movies like this.  It was not so long ago that if we did not watch a movie in person at the local Movie theater, we simply waited for the movie to become available at a local video rental shop where we would be able to rent the video in person and take it back home to watch it. 

Perhaps this is why this movie brings so many happy memories. We must admit that we are among the many fans who find that movies like this simply bring us back to a time when we were much younger and spending time with family and friends and watching movies like this that truly make us laugh.

 Since we have all heard that laughter is the best medicine, this is why movies like this are great to make everyone laugh even for those friends or family that are not necessarily in the best Holiday spirit or perhaps even act like they are becoming a scrooge.   

This movie is the kind of movie we can watch every year during the Holidays and never get bored of it 

So, whether this movie reminds us of a time when movies like this were sometimes enjoyed alone to allow for a little alone time or whether it was enjoyed by us laughing with others, what’s important is that it made us laugh.

Certainly, this movie never seems to go out of style no matter how many years have passed. 

There will always be fans of movies like “Home Alone”. Like many fans, we are also glad to see that Macaulay Culkin, the actor who played, Kevin in the “Home Alone” movies finally got a #HollywoodStar this year.
