Why I call my new Country Look Beyonce-Inspired

Whenever I want to feel and look beautiful inside and out, it’s all about self-care. I will get inspiration for my looks from a superstar like Beyonce.

When I saw Beyonce’s Superbowl commercial and later heard that she released a new country album with a couple country songs, this certainly made me feel like her country songs would be sending the message to the world about how much we need to support more diversity and inclusion for not only artists in the music industry but every one of us in every industry. It’s so nice to see the look of diversity in other industries like fashion, theater, weddings, science, technology, engineering, and math a.k.a (STEM). I love it when I feel inspired by looks that are new and different for me. Beyonce always inspires me because she always gives us something new and different.

Plus it inspires me to add some country-style clothing into my closet that I did not always have in my closet before.

It even makes me feel like putting on my country-style overalls and trying some country-western line dancing that I have never done before.   

Or maybe I may even go on a blind date with a cowboy since I have never dated a cowboy let alone a farmer before.

No matter what I do when I feel inspired by Beyonce I always make sure it makes me look and feel good inside and out. This reminds me that someone once told me to remember that self-care is not selfish.

 It’s especially exhilarating for me to put on a pair of “Daisy Dukes” shorts as part of my new country-look outfits for hanging out with my friends whether I plan on going on a Galentine’s-Style Getaway or just a day trip or night out on the town. 

So whether you represent typical friends and family, differently-abled individuals, or different gender identities, I think that there is nothing like a little self-care inspired by the creative expression of diversity and inclusivity of Beyonce’s unexpected country music that’s about to be dropped.
